Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the increase of Pro-Hamas rallies, which are turning into riots; the rallies now are occurring on more than 20 US College Campuses. The President at the University of Texas, said rules will be abided by on his campus as thirty were arrested for unruly protests there. Reading Ephesians 5:28-30, the panel continues in their study of the sacred union of marriage. The Holy Spirit uses the union of husband and wife in scripture to symbolize the union of Christ and the church. God became man, and through the incarnation, Jesus Christ went to the Cross where His body was sacrificed for all of sinful man. At salvation, we are immersed into His death. We are crucified with Christ, nevertheless we live, not I, but Christ lives in me. Bad theology in many churches sets up believers for depression and a turning away because people are wrongly taught that there are no trials and tests in victorious Christian walk, when in fact our tests and sufferings are what often what brings fruit in the believer's life.
