What did Jesus NOT do at Calvary? Nothing. Jesus Christ atoned for all sin, past, present, and future. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read 1st Corinthians 2:1-2 discussing how the Cross of Jesus Christ stripped Satan of power over the believer. Jesus is the source of all blessings, and the Cross is the means. He atoned for all sin and made it possible for us to live our Christian lives in victory. We have been united with Christ at salvation. How shall we, who are dead to sin, live any longer there in? We were baptized into Christ, at His death; therefore, sin shall no longer have dominion in our lives.
