Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Loren Larson and panel discuss how the Christian is not to live in a constant state of trying to defeat sin; but rather, we must learn how to apply Christ’s victory over our sin, which is sanctification in the believer’s life. The panel discusses the divine call in a life to preach, and how the Holy Spirit works out and anoints those who God calls. We must not call ourselves to the work of God. Brother Loren explains how correct preaching content will include the power of the gospel, and will bring people to Christ for salvation. This is what the unsaved man is to be called to, and not to the dynamic personality of a self-called preacher.
