The circumcision of the heart is important to understand. Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Loren Larson and panel discuss the blinding of the laws of Old to those Jews who did not understand the work verses faith. Reading, Jeremiah 31:33, Brother Jonathan explains the salvation of the Old Covenant through the law. In the New Covenant, faith in Christ’s ultimate sacrifice on the Cross brings it from an outward faith to an inward faith with a circumcision of the heart. Being born again comes after the Cross of Calvary, where our heart is changed, and a new Spirit comes within. This faith in Christ’s death removes the stony heart as prophesied in the Ezekiel 36:25-27.
