The Law cannot obtain the promise. Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Loren Larson and panel discuss the believer’s new way of living by faith in Christ and Him crucified. This is how righteousness is brought to humanity, by relationship with Christ. The Mosaic Law revealed man’s sinfulness, but it could not change us. Only faith in the blood of Jesus can deliver. Justification is by faith, and this is where we are legally innocent of the charges. Here, His righteousness is imputed into our account. We are free from guilt. We are washed, sanctified, and justified. Not only are we free from the penalty of our sin, but also we are free from the power and the dominion of sin.
