Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Jimmy DuPree and panel discuss trusting on the finished work of Christ as we walk out a victorious Christian life. The Apostle Paul warned new converts in his day of returning to the Mosaic Law after being saved by faith in Christ alone. The panel says law today is any self-efforts, religious behaviors, or our manmade traditions. We cannot take our focus off the finished work of Christ, if we do, we will go back into law keeping and the sin nature will rise again. We are in a New Covenant in Christ, relying on any other covenant is spiritual adultery.
