God devised the law to show man that he is in a weakened condition and cannot accomplish what only faith in Christ can do. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 7:13 as they continue to discuss the law and the sin nature. The Law was good, and is good, but if one attempts to keep its moral precepts by means other than constant faith in the Cross, the end result will be the “working of death” instead of life. Sin is humanities problem; when we accept Christ, the Holy Spirit comes inside and takes care of our struggle with sin so sin shall no longer have dominion over us.
