Jesus Christ paid the price for everything we have. Christ and Him crucified must be the object of the believer’s faith. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss why Jesus Christ had to go to the Cross as the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind. We cannot build our knowledge on any other biblical doctrines or understand our calling until we understand the foundation of the Cross. Every lamb offered as a sacrifice in the Old Covenant was a type of the slain Lamb of God, Jesus Christ to come. Brother Watts explains that we must understand the power of Pentecost through the lens of the Cross, which is God’s prescribed order of victory. Jesus Christ atoned for all sin when He died on Calvary’s Cross. The Cross of Christ is the dividing line between the true church and the Apostate church. Brother Swaggart says as we are nearing end times, understanding the Cross is more important than ever before.
