The Message of the Cross is designed by God to set the captive free. When God said “let My people go” He meant it then, and He means it now. Millions of Christians today are slaves to the sin nature; because sin is so bad it only gets worse. Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the only cure for sin. Christ remains in the character of a crucified Lord.
