Before the fall, the ground brought fruit. After the fall, the ground brought weeds. In the ground of our heart, weeds will grow by default. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how everything changed when Adam harkend unto Eve instead of God in the garden. This disobedience to God affected all generations to come. Brother Swaggart says this separation from God was a terminal death sentence for man, as man could no longer live forever. When sin came in, the curse affected God’s entire Creation. Thankfully, God made a way through faith in Jesus Christ to cover all sins, past, present and future to be forgiven when properly repented of, and the sin shall be remembered no more. Brother Josh says when we are not right with the Lord, nothing will go right; often times, blaming transpires, but the problem lies within. Brother Swaggart encourages us how this curse of the ground will be lifted, as Jesus is coming back to earth again.
