Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 1:3-4 discussing the purpose in a life of those who are born again. God has a plan for all who would believe on Christ’s finished work on the Cross. There is no “ pre-selected elect” as many in the Reformed church teach. Brother Larson says the teaching of predestination is incorrect in that God doesn’t pre-select “who” but He does have a “what” that is a predestined plan. Correct doctrine is, God is sovereign and gives man a free will to choose Christ for salvation. God calls all, and when we accept Christ by faith, we are brought into the family of God.
