Man, minus God, equals flesh. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss flesh; not demeaning creation, but recognizing what the fall did to creation. The mind that is set on flesh is hostile to God. Sin will come in when we depend on our flesh and not the Lord. Brother Swaggart says we can have education, abilities, and talents but when we depend on them and not God we have a big problem. Satan will deceive the believer away from God by getting us to do seemingly good things that God never told us to do. We must ask God what He wants us to do, how we should do it, and then ask Him to give us the power to do it.
