Learn to lean on Jesus. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Tommy Bates from Community Family Church in Independence Kentucky. The panels reads Ephesians 1:9 explaining the redemption plan of God, the mystery of the New Covenant, all which was new information to the converts of 2,000 years ago. The Holy Spirit revealed to the Apostle Paul what he needed to teach the new believers. Pastor Bates shares his personal testimony of his walk with God that began at age five. At age 12, he said the lies of Satan tried to steal his mind and his life, but he called on the name of Jesus, and the power of God instantly defeated Satan’s plan. God’s will is good, and it is the only thing He will accept, and because it is perfect. God desires that all sinful man will repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
