They that live Godly, in Christ Jesus, will suffer persecution. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 6:12-13 discussing how a little leaven will leaven the whole lump. The Judaizers compromised the purity of the gospel of Jesus Christ because they did not want to suffer persecution. The panel likens what the Judaizers were doing then to what the seeker sensitive churches do today. Embracing any kind of law or works in place of exclusive faith in Christ will only lead to failure, not victory. Spiritual pride and self-righteousness is the reason many in the church don’t preach the Cross and the Cross alone and rather focus on man’s performance, which will only lead to death. Brother Joseph says men and women must be given the truth of the Cross so they can live the greatest life that Christ died for us to live.
