From the Resurrection to the Ascension, Christ appeared some ten times over a forty day period; teaching His followers still for what was to come. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Christ’s ascension before the eyes of the people on the Mount of Olivet. He gave the people His last instructions before the Shekinah Glory of God surrounded Him as He ascended. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God. Brother Swaggart says God has preserved His Word for man to know His truth that we might keep His Word. His Word is to be a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. Brother Larson reminds us, when Christ returns all will see Him.
