Jesus commanded them to not depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, and be indued with power from on high. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the infilling power of the Holy Spirit, explaining the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. The Holy Spirit will only work within the framework of the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Brother Larson encourages how the moving of the Holy Spirit is so much more than a one time event. His presence, in us, through a prayer in tongues to God, offers a rest and refreshing for our everyday life and living; and at the same time, that prayer praises and glorifies God.
