It’s real. It’s real. Thank God, I know it’s real. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss stammering lips, as from the Holy Spirit; a gift of a prayer language, tongues, for those who will believe. Scripture says, it is a sign to unbelievers, and a fulfillment of prophecy that we are coming down to the end, indicating the rapture of the church is near. In the last couple of hundreds of years, Brother Swaggart says there have been millions of people filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and speak in other tongues. Brother Larson says, unfortunately today, many Christians don’t believe that tongues is the initial evidence of the infilling of the Spirit. He suggests we read the five examples in the Book of Acts that address the infilling with the evidence of tongues. In these scriptures, we also see not only the evidence of tongues, but also that it is a second subsequent work that comes to the believer after salvation. Acts 2:10,19.
