All sin was nailed to the Cross of Christ; Satan could no longer have a hold on the believer. Today on The Message Of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Colossians 2:14-15, discussing the Apostle Paul’s teachings to the early church. At that time, the Jewish view of a Messiah was not one who would come to die; but they viewed a Savior to be similar to Moses that would liberate the people from the Roman oppression they were under. We see then and now, He is a liberator; our Savior atoned for all sin on Calvary’s Cross, taking us from death to life.
