In Christ, we have the victory. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss examining and reckoning. We see iniquity growing around us, Brother Loren says without the understanding of the Cross, the believer will likely fall to the ways of the world and will look to the world when seeking victory over sin. The Apostle Paul teaches us that through the Spirit, the sin nature shall no longer dominate us. Brother Joseph says, all too often, the believer has a passive attitude about sin. When the Lord saves us as sinners, He saves us from sin and doesn’t wish to keep us there. When we trust in the finished work of Jesus on Calvary’s Cross, the Holy Spirit will change us into the image of Christ; any other mindset will hinder our walk in the Spirit.
