We forgive others because we have been forgiven much. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how as Christians, we lay down our thoughts of revenge and restitution of those who have hurt or offended us. Brother Joseph reminds us that believers must walk in forgiveness; then God’s grace will heal the wound. This is a great stepping stone in our growth as a believer; showing love to others as God has shown us. This is the Lord’s will for the believer. If we don’t seek God to help us forgive those who have hurt us, then bitterness has the ability to take root and hinder our walk with the Lord. We must walk in the light to have correct fellowship with people. Walking in the light means we have accepted, understand, and are anchored in the finish work of Christ.
