Before death, man must believe on Christ alone, there are no second chances. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 4:9-10 discussing what happens when the believer dies. Before the Cross, believers went to Paradise, and later were led out by Christ Himself; but now, all who believe on the finished work of Christ go immediately to be with the Lord in heaven. For those who do not believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ, at death, they will immediately go to hell. Our continued faith in Christ guarantees our eternity spent with Him. No works of our own will achieve what only the sacrifice of Christ on Calvary’s Cross has fulfilled.
