Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss these words of Jesus and how proper faith in Christ can set the Holy Spirit in motion in our lives; thus, we must walk after the Spirit and not the flesh. The Spirit’s job is to glorify Christ. We must depend solely upon what Christ has done at the Cross for every aspect of our lives. Jesus died on Calvary’s Cross for all sin. Our sin is stronger than our will power; we must lay every burden, every bondage down at the foot of the Cross, and see what God will do in our lives. Sin is not to have dominion in a believer’s life; for the penalty for our sin has been paid for at the Cross, and there, Jesus has also destroyed the power of sin.
