But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto faith which should afterwards be revealed. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 3:23-24 discussing what the believer has in Jesus Christ. The Mosaic Law was needful, and given for a specific purpose and for a specific time. The Apostle Paul taught that under the law, man was imprisoned to it. Brother Josh encourages us that Christ came and opened the prison door, and we are made free in Him. The Law has been fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He was the end of the Law for righteousness. Today we are accountable to Christ and are kept by the power of the Holy Spirit when our faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ. We are justified by faith alone.
