Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome special guest historian and author William Federer. The panel reads Galatians 3:23-24, discussing the Apostle Paul's teaching on the term "schoolmaster", i.e. guardianship of the Law, until justification by faith came. The Law was transitory; Paul wrote when the law came, the sin nature revived, and I died. God was only using the Law for a time, to teach, until Christ would come and die on Calvary's Cross and fulfill the Law. The promise was fulfilled as Christ set at liberty those who understood who He was and what He did on the Cross for the sin of man. Brother Swaggart reminds us, that only faith in Christ gets God's seal of approval.
