But we preach Christ crucified, without the Cross, nothing much will be done with regards to salvation. Today on The Message Of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how Jesus had to go to the Cross. That is why Jesus came. Eternity will continue to spell out the many blessings of the Cross of Christ. Brother Gray says pride must fall and sinful man must turn from self. Brother Brown says we need more broken preachers. He says this preparation is obsolete in pulpits today. A broken and contrite spirit is needed to preach Christ Crucified. Brother Larson says this is not just a necessity for salvation, but must be the heart of the believer for everyday going forward. There is freedom in the Word of God when the Gospel goes forth. The panel agrees the preaching of the Cross is enough to take care of the current rioting going on in our nation today with regards to racism and the murder of a black man by a white officer. Dealing with the issue of eternity, is the only thing that can affect the here and now.
