To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how when a person dies, the physical body goes back to the dust of the earth. The soul and the Spirit of man, however, do not die but go to be with the Lord, and await the Resurrection of life, where all believers will get a glorified body. Brother Josh reminds that every time a person is saved there is rejoicing going on in heaven. It’s a joyful place because they can see the goodness of God first hand and know what God’s ultimate goal is. While we on earth mourn the loss of a loved one, remember they have won the race and are with the Lord. In heaven, we will be married to Christ. Marriage in heaven will be different than we know it on earth; we will be the bride of Christ, and He is our heavenly bridegroom.
