God wants His people dependent on Him. God asks, do you want knowledge on your own, or do you want to learn from me? Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss where man has gone wrong, and how he has tried, since Adam and Eve, to change the government of God. In the garden, God had Adam and Eve one on one, to teach and instruct them. They however ruined that with their sin, of disobeying God by eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Pastor Bill Bailey, of the Happy Gospel Church, in Bradenton Florida joins the panel today. He suggests, Adam and Eve’s actions show us the beginning of taking our faith and putting it in something, or someone, other than Christ. The mercy and grace of God wants us to grow in the knowledge of Him. A detour from God only brings misery in the heart. Brother Bailey shares how we go to God in prayer to change things, and He changes us.
