The soul that sins shall die. Satan used Eve to get to Adam. Had Eve been the only one to fail in the garden, God could have forgiven her. However, Satan had to get to Adam to poison his seed, because it was Adam’s seed that would bring forth the human race. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how Eve was deceived, but Adam knew he was doing wrong, and rebelled anyway. Satan tempts the believer today by causing doubt and questioning which brings a believer’s resistance down. While Satan tempts, Brother Smith says God tests and tries us so we ultimately will grow in His grace and knowledge.
