How can God be just, and justify? What does it mean to be justified? Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss justification by faith. Brother Swaggart says this justification means God is declaring an obviously guilty person, not guilty, innocent and perfect. Jesus atoned for ALL sin on the Cross. The only thing between humanity and eternal hell is the Cross of Christ. Brother Larson encourages us to think about the value of His sacrifice. Man simply has to accept, freely, what Christ provided on the Cross; evidence is, faith in what He did for us. When we sin, we prove why God has a necessity for man’s justification; but thank God, we can repent and move forward again with God. Brother Larson explains how this is not a license to sin, but when we are justified and saved, we are convicted within of our sin and are truly sorry. It’s not sin that will separate us from God, but unbelief. 1 John 1:9
