That which must be satisfied at all times, the Holy character of God, it cannot be forgotten for one moment. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how we must realize that we are a guilty sinner, and when we come to Christ, we are washed clean and are found justified. Brother Larson says we must remember our status in the Cross always, and remain humble to the knowledge of our necessity for this justification status. That must always be applied to our lives. It’s a legal decree of God, based solely on our faith in Christ and Him Crucified. When the work of Christ is magnified, and we see our reliance on that and that alone, then we more clearly can understand justification. God is the judge that can evaluate the motives of the heart and mind of man; He is a just God. Brother Josh says the wages of sin is death. When we accept Christ, we are crucified with Him. The old man is dead and buried, and we are raised a new creation in Christ.
