Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss repentance and faith and in Christ crucified alone. Repentance is a reaffirmation of our faith. It is not getting saved again. God remitted David’s sin, because God knew his heart. David had a broken and contrite spirit, which is the fruit of a man that walks with God. David did nothing to earn God’s forgiveness. It is our response in the heart when failure comes. Brother Joseph says a sign that faith is not present or is failing would be when there is no repentance when one sins. Christ will never run out of intercession on our behalf when we fail. The just shall live by faith; this is what the believer must walk in because the vicotry has already been won.
