Sin never remains static; but when we are in Christ, sin can become dormant in our lives. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss sanctification in the life of the believer. God created man perfect, but man chose to fall in the garden to the deception of Satan. We are all born with different proclivities to sin, i.e. the sin nature. But if we repent, God has made a way, through the blood of Jesus Christ to cover all our sins. God said, “let my people go”, through Moses to Pharaoh; and for a time, the Israelites suffered more. But Brother Swaggart says, be encouraged, if we hang on by faith in Christ crucified He will bring us out.
