If sin is not preached, will Christians be convicted of their sin and repent? Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how the Holy Spirit will show His power to us, giving us victory in this life when our faith is anchored in the finished work of Jesus Christ. God cannot accept sin, so the Holy Spirit works so that sin will not have dominion over us. Brother John says, God will do this if we cooperate by faith. When we are saved, we are convicted of the sin in our lives; if we confess our sin, the Lord is quick to forgive and the Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us in a closer walk with the Lord. Jesus came to convict the world, by showing us our need for a Savior, and thus saving us from our sin.
