The flesh is not God’s way, the Holy Spirit is. We must anchor our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work at Calvary’s Cross. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss trying to live this Christian life in the flesh, which will result in Spiritual wreckage. Christ atoned for all sin on the Cross so that we can have victory in this life. Christ’s finished work gives the Holy Spirit the leeway to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. If we try to do the work ourselves, Christ will be of no profit to us. As believers, it is God’s will for the Holy Spirit to transform us into the image of Christ.
