Let my people go. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the salvation of the Israelites; seeing the glad tidings of the Israelites at the end of Exodus chapter four and then, by the end of chapter five, they are struggling against the power of Satan that wants to keep their soul in bondage. Brother Swaggart reminds us, we must stand on the promises of God; the Cross is the only thing standing between man and the eternal darkness of hell. The believer must anchor their faith in the Cross of Christ as their sole foundation; then and only then, the power of the Holy Spirit will bring deliverance and victory over sin given at salvation, and then when the believer asks for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as a second subsequent work, more power will be bestowed for service and ministry. Brother Larson explains Acts one looking at the power of the Holy Spirit and the "growing and going” that is to take place in a believer’s life.
