Humanism teaches man is inherently good, and that he can solve all of his problems of self from within. Sin binds man and only the Cross of Christ can deliver us and make us free from sin. When one believes on the finished work of Christ, then the sin nature is made dormant within and the Holy Spirit goes to work to change us into the image of Christ. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
