Our hope is in Christ and in Him alone. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss what happens when the believer is removed from his or her life source, who is Jesus Christ. The more we drift from God the more the world will have an effect on us. The church needs to be ready. Brother Swaggart says there will be a great harvest of souls to come before the rapture of the church. Brother Joseph warns believers to watch and pray that we are accounted worthy to escape the coming tribulation that will fall on those who don’t make the rapture. We can be removed from the faith if we are deceived by the worldly ways that have been mixed in with the teachings of the church. We must have oil for our lamps; the oil is the Holy Spirit, and He works solely within the confines of our faith being anchored in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
