How is a person sanctified; that being, how can a believer live a victorious Christian life? Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how a sinner is washed, sanctified, and justified immediately when a they repent and come to the Lord by faith. When our faith is anchored in Christ’s finished work, the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf and bring our condition up to our position in Christ. Misplaced faith, in the wrong object, will hinder that sanctifying work that only the Holy Spirit can do. God wants us all to have victory over sin.
