We must trust on Calvary for our justification and our sanctification. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 5:14-15 discussing how the believer must anchor their faith in the finished work of Christ, then the Holy Spirit can work on our behalf to lead us into the righteousness of Christ. This is the only way to grow in the benefits that we have already received when we became born again. There is no law, self-efforts or good works that can accomplish what only believing on Christ crucified can do. If we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, by standing fast in what we have been given at Calvary, it is a guarantee of a victorious Christian life, as the sin nature will not find liberty to rise again in our lives.
