We get the best of the trade; we give Him all of our sins, and He gives us perfection. God sees us as perfect, because He sees Christ in us when our faith is right. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the great day of atonement; when once a year, the high priest would go into the Holy of Holies with incense and apply blood on the mercy seat. Under the New Covenant, Jesus had to sacrifice Himself just once. His death on the Cross atoned for all sin. To be a fit vessel for the Holy Spirit, we must be cleansed and perfected by the justifying work of Calvary; that happens when we say I Believe!
