Too many people wrongly base their salvation on their morality. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel welcome Pastor Mike Mounce from Cuba Missouri. The panel discusses the biblical idea of a pre-tribulation rapture versus a mid or post tribulation rapture. Titus chapter two tells us how to live Godly through the grace of God, and that we have a blessed hope that Christ is soon to return; therefore, God does not intend for His children of faith to suffer the Great Tribulation. Brother Larson says too many in the church are more focused on the here and now and not on end time events. The panel discusses A-millennialism, which is when believers wrongly think we are currently living in the Great Tribulation. When we don’t understand the message of the Cross, we will not understand eschatology and the blessed hope we have in Christ. We are justified in Him, and must be careful not to drift away from our source of life and come back to our first love, which is where our security lies in the finished work of Christ.
