Today on the Message of the Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss what it means to walk in victory for the believer. Brother Swaggart reminds that the Lord does not require much; but unless our faith is only in what Christ did at the cross, then and only then, can the Holy Spirit help change us by His power. Brother Larson says many believers think that they can reach sanctification by a work that they do themselves. This equals law. Brother Rosenstern agrees, anytime a believer tries to apply something, no matter how Godly their intentions, then the sin nature is aroused. Sin is the problem. If you have not put the Cross as the foundation and object of your faith, you have engaged self in using the ways of the world, and not the Holy Spirit, for your power source. Brother Smith says you end up creating a habit, the world does that, but what about the heart?
