The Lord tests in order for us to succeed, therefore faith must be tested. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the lies of Satan and the truths of God. We must believe God’s truths during the tests, no matter how trying. Brother Smith reminds us, reading Isaiah 42:3, we are a bruised reed, but God will not break us. Brother Larson reminds us of Peter, and despite his failures the Lord had a job for him to do. He was to bring the Gospel message to the lost. No sin is too big for God. The Lord forgives when we repent, and He continues to complete in us that which He started. Brother Larson encourages us to not quit; if we won’t quit, God won’t quit. He is rich in mercy.
