The Message Of The Cross - May 7th, 2020
The Message of the Cross • 07-May-2020
The Apostle Paul, while saved, was struggling. He asked the question, how can I live for God? Today on the Message of the Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the sin nature. The bible tells us, when we believe, the sin nature shall not have dominion over us. However, if faith is not in the cross and the cross alone, sin can dominate the believer’s life once again. Before the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden, man’s nature was of God. Brother Swaggart tells us that even though salvation brings about the dormancy of the sin nature, it doesn’t go away, it’s just been made inactive. When we put our faith in something other than the Cross of Christ, such as our own good works, the sin nature can become active again. Brother Larson adds that the Lord left our sin nature in us, to test our faithfulness.
