Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss what sinful man’s answer is, as psychology has wrongly come into the church. The bible defines man’s problem as sin and psychology defines man’s problem as a sickness or disease. Psychology tries to diagnose man’s problem, and then man can learn how to cope with his problems. Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s Cross to bring about all victory that man desires. Christ’s death was a finished work, and He does not need our help. The biblical solution of God is that we only believe in His finished work, and rest, and then our faith will allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. His death paid the penalty for all our sin, and His death broke the power of sin in our lives.
