God chastens those He loves. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the importance of seeking God’s will for our lives. The panel looks at God’s plan for David, as Jesus Christ came through the lineage of David; He is David’s Son. David is alive in the portals of glory, and he will return to reign with Christ in Jerusalem during the Millennium. God tells us, until the return of Christ, we will be continually conformed into His righteousness. God’s Covenant with David will be preserved by God until the Messiah comes to rule. The panel looks at the life of Solomon, who wandered from the will of God, but did return to Him in the end. With regards to Solomon, God said, His mercy would not be put away.
