God has not called believers to be successful by man’s definition, but faithful. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the correct foundation of the church versus worldly church efforts. Brother Larson says we must yield our hearts and minds to the Holy Spirit and stay humble; as numbers and money do not equate to God’s definition of success. Brother Smith says preachers must preach and teach with obedience to God and His Word, and not be motivated by the response of the people. To be a laborer for the Kingdom of God, we must do it God’s way. The Lord adds daily; if we are faithful and content, the Lord will add as He sees fit.
