Do you know the difference between baptism in water, baptism with the Holy Spirit, and baptism into Christ? Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss those differences. The Baptism into Christ, in Romans 6:3-10, is our immersion or union into Christ when we repent and believe. Brother Larson says when this happens, it breaks the power of indwelling sin, something water baptism cannot do. The water baptism shows outwardly what has already occurred internally in the heart of one who has believed on Christ. Brother Swaggart reminds, we can only have a resurrected life when we have been planted together in the likeness of His death. This happens only at the Cross, where victory can be had by all as the Holy Spirit leads and guides when our faith remains In Christ.
