Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 2:15 discussing the false teaching of the Word of Faith doctrine. Jesus Christ did not become sin or a sinner on the Cross. He was a perfect sacrifice, our Savior, who became a sin offering on our behalf. We must have correct faith in Christ and Him crucified, and this faith will result in a humility that quenches the pride of man. When we are found trusting in Him alone, the Holy Spirit will take care of all our needs, and we will see freedom and blessings as God has willed for our lives. The panel also discusses Martin Luther, as today is Reformation Day, the anniversary of when Luther posted his 95 Theses on the door of the Castle Roman Catholic Church in Wittenberg Germany in 1517.
