Death and sin no longer have dominion over the believer when faith is anchored in Christ’s finished work. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss how death for the child of God is totally different than death for the unbeliever. When a child of God dies, angels transport us to heaven; when the unsaved die, demons transport the person to hell. Brother John reminds us that we are crucified with Christ, so when we believe, we die with Him; then we are raised, and found alive in Christ, a new creation. We are alive to God, through Jesus Christ. There is now a rest found in believing; the only doing we are to do is to believe and God takes care of the rest.
